Single-piece Wheel
Process

All wheels that arrive at Produced Factory undergo a rigorous refurbishment process! This is why we don't do half jobs or sell barrels and lips separately, a lot of the cost involved comes from the preparation and workmanship we put into each set of wheels that leaves the factory.

Cleaning

Wheels often come to us in a pretty sad state.

From the very beginning; tyres are removed for all wheels to be thoroughly cleaned.

After this clean we chemical strip the wheels back to raw metal to remove all paint and coatings in preparation for repairs.

These raw wheels are then bakes to remove any final oils, gases and residue.

Repairing

All the metal is now sanded smooth (most wheels have a rough casting in the metal and once smoothed this gives the nicest finish once coated. Unless you would like to keep the original casting marks and have them look like original finishes please let our team know)

Now the lengthy process of repairing, machining, straightening smoothing happens.

Once all previous finishes are removed, a lot of dents and scratches reveal themselves from general use, all of these are removed and repaired to ensure the end result is as close to prefect as possible!

Refinishing

We then carefully media blasted the whole set of  wheels inside and out

All of the mounting surfaces are meticulously masked to ensure you have no issue bolting back on the car.

Only after this can we begin to Powder coat the entire wheel in you chosen colour

Baked in the oven to set the powder.

These last 2 steps may be repeated 2-4 times depending on the desired colour choice

You get your wheels back
Better than new!

Please understand that we are a business that aims to create the PERFECT finish. This being the case, some jobs can take quite a bit of time. When you first contact us to book your wheels in we will do our best to give you a timeframe on how long it will take based on the condition of your wheels, other customers, whose wheels we already have AND the availability and time to get the specific hardware required for your wheels ( This is more relevant to 2 and 3-piece wheels)

We hope you understand the effort, work and time that goes into making your old crusty wheels into the wheels of your dreams!
